LET’S PLAY! AN ORGANIZATION DESIGN EXPERIENCE.
Facilitated by Donald L. Anderson, PhD & Kiersten Rippeteau, CODP
Engage your playful side and start to hone your organizational design skills in this interactive game experience! Dr. Donald Anderson, Sr. Director of Organizational & Talent Development at Oracle, author, and adjunct faculty at University of Denver, and Kiersten Rippeteau, Certified Organization Design Practitioner at Palmer OSG invite you to play a game of design as you move through learning the five points of Galbraith’s Star Model to experience the process of going through an organizational re-design. You’ll dive into an engaging case study and work in teams to learn different ways of addressing real life design challenges as you move through the Star Model game board.

Donald L. Anderson, PhD works with senior executives to facilitate large scale change and organization transformation, with a particular focus on organization design and talent management. He is the author or editor of four books, including the bestselling text Organization Development: The Process of Leading Organizational Change (5thed, Sage Publications, 2019). His most recent book, Organization Design: Creating Strategic & Agile Organizations, was published in July 2018. Dr. Anderson has also published a number of articles on organizational change. He teaches at the University of Denver and University of Colorado, Boulder.

Kiersten Rippeteau, CODP, Sr. Organizational Strategy Consultant, Palmer OSG – Kiersten’s background in business operations and organization design & development has led to her career helping organizations align operations to their compelling purpose. She’s passionate in her pursuit to make “business as a force for good” the norm instead of a lofty ideal. Kiersten is a Certified Organization Design Practitioner (CODP) and currently serves on the Organization Design Forum’s board of directors.
