THE FUTURE IS ALREADY HERE, IT’S JUST NOT EVENLY DISTRIBUTED – DYNAMIC ORGANIZATION DESIGN – by Sarah Sonnenfeld & Steve Garcia
Science-fiction writer William Gibson said: “The future is already here — it’s just not very evenly distributed.” As deep practitioners of organization design, where do we see glimpses of the future?
Come to this session to see and share glimpses, discuss specific challenges with colleagues, and experiment yourself with new tools and techniques for engaging stakeholders.
We will use two participatory methods for this session. (1) First, after brief framing, we will follow “unconference” principals – a gathering of collaborators who together set an agenda focused on what is most pressing for discussion. (2) Second, we will be hearing insights from each other about what we each see as the future of the field and whom we turn to discuss innovative and challenging ideas. We will see immediate results using Entromy, an adaptive organizational diagnostic platform powered by AI and natural language processing.
We look forward to learning and creating with you!
