There is so much to explore with your fellow community members,
it was asked that we make “space” available to continue the conversation

The overarching question we’ll focus on will be:
Of all the adaptations and responses we are seeing relative to COVID-19 and to how work is getting done,
which are likely to have lasting implications and impact on organizations and how they are designed? Why?

COVID-19 has had profound and far reaching effects on how work gets done. Below are just a few examples:
- The sudden shift to masses working from home, using technology to stay connected and collaborate.
- With supply chains being disrupted, groups and divisions that had never before needed to collaborate find themselves thrown together to solve previously unheard of problems.
- Organizational boundaries we took for granted no longer seem to matter.
- The design of brick-and-mortar office locations, even their role and importance, is being seriously questioned.
You have to wonder what developments like these might mean to the future of organizational systems and design?
**Unlike our other virtual connections, our Pop-Up Conversations are an experiment we are running – an effort to build community by sharing ideas in a casual group conversation, with a little structure and gently facilitated to encourage contributions by all participants.**
