Stu Winby

Stu Winby has 40 years’ experience in both executive management and organizational consulting. He managed Lockheed’s human factors group in space systems and later Hewlett Packard’s Factory of the Future and corporate software development. He was Vice President at the American Productivity Center working on new company start-ups and redesigns in steel, airlines, and auto industries. He is founder and CEO of Spring Network an organization design firm and was also Managing Partner of Innovation Point, a strategic innovation firm — both headquartered in the Silicon Valley. His focus over the last fifteen years has been in healthcare, working at the CEO, state and national level in innovation and transformation, and the technology sector in the Silicon Valley.  Stu’s current interests and research are in the shifts in organization design theory and practice, and the role of the Design Practitioner.
