Topic: Designing in Context
As we kick off 2024, we will turn our awareness to the many ways in which global, national, and local dynamics affect Organization Design. We will look at the past — times when the external factors affected an organization’s design — and to the future, to explore how our current unfolding reality might affect our work. What’s in store for 2024? And how will the social, political, environmental, economic, and geopolitical play into our work? Come join the conversation as we consider how what happens outside the organizations we design impacts our design work.
The ODF Coffee (or Cocktails) Club is a place to connect, share, and learn in the unstructured “meet-up”. We provide a topic and an initial thought to inspire the conversation in virtual breakout rooms. We aim to build community around a shared passion for Organization Design.
