A design consideration that takes into account the constellation of stakeholders within which an entity operates as well as that entity’s individual design goals for the mutual benefit of all. An entity’s ecosystem may be composed of numerous corporations, partners, government regulators, non-profit groups, individuals and communities that might be individually autonomous but related through their connection with an underlying, evolving technical/digital system.
