Bring more of your deeper-funner-truer-complex self to the virtual world… and your design work. We will tap Gestalt, Mad Tea, and superpowered Wicked Questions, playfully drawing out more complexityin you and others simultaneously. We will explore together a connection model that liberates authenticity.
Description:
In this roll up your sleeves session, we will have serious fun liberating more authentic connections with a handful of Liberating Structures and the Authentic Connection Model.
Our goal is to invite you to bring more of your deeper-funner-truer-complex self to design work even as you make this possible for others around you. We believe drawing out more complexity–in yourself and others simultaneously–makes it possible to more productively face up to tough challenges.
Three bold ideas shape the session: 1. Change-by-design cannot be broad enough to make a real difference unless a large number of people become fully and authentically involved; 2. The complexity of challenges we face are most productively addressed when matched to the diversity of attributes people bring to their work; and, 3. Focusing on action and next steps to address shared challenges generates momentum & hopefulness.
Finally, we are designing interaction with a high degree of variability at the micro-scale experienced as imaginative play while retaining metastability at the macro-scale experienced as creative or useful results.
