How can organization design practitioners help businesses move beyond ‘doing less harm’ towards creating net positive impact – in a way that generates business success?

Bernard Mohr and Jodie Goulden will be leading this session and will provide you with practical ways to apply organization design services to regenerative business. We’ll discuss common challenges—such as unclear strategy, fragmented efforts, and misaligned incentives—and share tools and approaches that practitioners can use to drive meaningful change.

You’ll have the chance to exchange with your peers and will take away 1-2 concrete actions you can apply in your org design work.

After 40 years of practice as an applied social scientist and entrepreneur, in 2021, Bernard Mohr co-founded (with Neil Samuels) The Co-Creating Mutual Value Collaborative. The Collaborative was created on the premise that private enterprise can and must be part of solving today’s world-wide challenges – meaningful inclusion of all people in shared future making, valuing of diverse and often unrepresented voices and a seat at the table of economic prosperity for everyone.

During the previous 40 years Bernard Mohr had the opportunity to serve as Dean of Complex Systems Change at the Institute for Applied Behavioral Science as well as a Director on their Board; adjunct faculty in organizational innovation at Concordia University, developer of both theory and practice in Socio-Technical Systems Design and Appreciative Inquiry, publish seven books and many articles dealing with co-creating more humane and effective organizations, and found two successful professional service organizations.

He was fortunate to work with global clients on human centered innovation of service delivery, management and production challenges – specializing in health care delivery, post secondary education and R&D functions within health sciences and petroleum exploration.

As the founder of Orgdesign Works and a Certified Organization Design Professional, Jodie brings over 25 years of global leadership experience from working in the USA, Germany, China, UK, Singapore, Canada, and Australia.

Jodie has a BA (Hons) in Psychology from the University of Western Australia, supplemented by advanced coursework in Organization Design, Strategy, and Design Thinking from RWTH Aachen, University of Würzburg, MIT, and Michigan Ross Business School. She is on the Board of the Organization Design Forum and Faculty for the European Organisation Design Forum.
