Organization Design ‘Coffee to Cocktails Club’ – June
Tuesday, June 16th | 11AM – 12PM (EDT)
(third Tuesdays)
Let’s talk all things Organization Design! ODF will host a monthly virtual coffee (or cocktail depending on where you are in the globe) club for people interested in or working in the field.
Join Brandon Curry, ODF Board Member, who is hosting this month’s meet-up, for two to three rounds of participant-led breakouts to chat about topics of special interest to practitioners.
Topic: Building Across Silos for Maximum Collaboration
Many people like to talk about breaking down silos. But silos are critical infrastructure in your organization. They are like the load-bearing walls of a house. Must haves! Silos orient your organization to its strategy and provide leverage for getting work done. But they do hinder collaboration. And that’s why we need to build windows and doors in these load-bearing walls. Join us for a rich discussion about building the collaborative mechanisms that help people to work across silos, without just tearing them down.

The ODF Coffee to Cocktails Club is a place to connect, share, and learn. We build community around a shared passion for Organization Design and encourage people at all levels of experience and a vast array of interests to attend. The Club meets monthly for three rounds of attendee led breakout groups on topics of special interest to practitioners and is an unstructured ‘meet-up’. We provide a topic and an initial prompt question to inspire the conversation in breakout rooms.
