Let’s talk all things Organization Design! ODF will host a monthly virtual coffee (or cocktail depending on where you are in the globe) club for people interested in or working in the field.
We meet monthly for two to three rounds of small group conversations on topics of special interest to practitioners.
Topic: Facilitation: Honing our skills to create more effective dialogue
In our work as Org Design practitioners, consultants, and trainers, we cannot escape the need to facilitate discussions. Whether we are trying to gather data, bolster learning, or promote decision making, the ability to tease out the information needed to solve problems is a never-ending demand. What have you learned that might benefit another in this task?
We will offer two rounds of small-group breakouts prompted by:
- What is a discussion you’ve facilitated that did not go the way you planned or hoped? What was your lesson learned?
- What is a tip, skill, or question you’ve learned that has become a game changer in how you facilitate?
