By the end of the course, you’ll be able to:

- Understand a typical design process and your role in it
- Apply your learning to real-world situations

Cynthia Escamilla, an ODF Board Member and Principal/Owner of Elena Consulting LLC
With over 25 years of Fortune 500 experience, Cynthia is an insightful strategic consultant with deep organizational development skills. She has led global organization design projects, from strategy to implementation planning and activation. She thrives in coaching leaders through the design process, building organizational capabilities by helping them lead through change and understand the talent and cultural impact of their designs.
In addition to her own organization design consulting practice, Cynthia was also a Principal Consultant with KatesKesler Organization Consulting. Prior to launching her consulting career, Cynthia was a Senior Human Resources leader with Nike and started her career with Intel. Cynthia holds an Advanced Organization Design certification from the USC Marshall School of Business, and earned her B.S. in International Business from San José State University.
Jane Bech, an ODF Board Member and CEO & Founder of Thrive by Design
With 25+ years in senior HR, OD, and Leadership roles at Fortune 500 healthcare companies including Cigna, Novo Nordisk, and Bristol-Myers Squibb, Jane brings a rare integration of large systems thinking and deeply human-centered practices. This dual fluency — in both the science of organizational complexity and the art of trauma-informed, somatic approaches — allows her to navigate paradox and design solutions that honor both business imperatives and human dignity.
Jane has served as a Strategic HR Business Partner to C-Suite leaders across R&D, IT, Finance, Legal, Compliance, and Commercial functions. Most recently, she led Cigna’s Organization Design practice.
Jane holds an MA in Organizational Psychology from Columbia University, and is a Certified Organization Design Practitioner. She is also certified in somatic coaching through the Strozzi Institute and has trained in Integrated Somatic Trauma Therapy, bringing an embodied, nervous-system-informed lens to organizational change.
